Exhibition “Fables and fables”
The exhibition “Fables and Little Tales” presents the works of Viktor Ryzhkin, dedicated to the visualization of folk sayings and fable plots. The artist faced a difficult task: to embody succinct, often ambiguous phrases in images, preserving their humor and folk wisdom. Ryzhkin solves it with ingenuity and a subtle sense of proportion: his illustrations do not just explain the text, but reveal its hidden meanings through expressive images. The artist’s works are striking in their accuracy in depicting human emotions—every facial expression and gesture is verified and filled with meaning. Ryzhkin’s original style is recognizable: it combines elements of satire, grotesque and careful attention to detail. These paintings do not leave the viewer indifferent - they make you smile and want to look at them more closely.
