Magic of Africa

The exhibition features works from the collection of Eddie Novarro (1925–2003), a photographer, traveler and collector. In the 1950s, he made several trips to the countries of Tropical Africa, during which he collected a unique collection of African art. Most of it is stored in the V.D. Museum-Reserve. Polenova. The exhibition includes masks, sculpture and household items of the first half of the 20th century from the countries of Central and West Africa: Burkina Faso, Cote d'Ivoire, Nigeria, Mali, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Cameroon, etc.
