1418 days. To the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory
The curator of the project, Irina Sedova, calls it an “exhibition-experience”, allowing viewers of all generations to understand and feel the events of 1941–1945 through the works of artists from the Gallery’s collection. The exhibition includes five sections - “The Fiery Miles of War”, “The Altar of Victory”, “Echoes of the Past War”, “Faces of Victory” and “The Tretyakov Gallery during the Great Patriotic War”, each of which tells about the key moments of that time. The Tretyakov Gallery collections contain a collection of works dedicated to the theme of the Great Patriotic War, unique in composition and quantity, most of which will be presented within the framework of this project.
