Polenovo
State Memorial Historical, Artistic and Natural Museum-Reserve of the artist Vasily Polenov. According to the designs of V.D. Polenov, the main house, the artist’s workshop “Abbey”, outbuildings, services were built in the estate, as well as the Trinity Church and school located 2 km from Polenov in the village of Bekhovo, where a folk theater was organized for peasants and their children in the village of Strakhovo. In 1931, a house museum was opened in the estate.
