Panorama Museum "Battle of Borodino"
Historical Museum in Moscow, dedicated to the Patriotic War of 1812. The main object of the museum is a panorama of the Battle of Borodino, created by artist Franz Roubaud in 1911–1912 for the 100th anniversary of the battle. This is one of the largest paintings in the world: its length is 115 m, its height is 15 m. The canvas depicts one of the decisive moments of the battle. Work on the panorama was carried out in Munich with the participation of historians, military experts and other artists.
