Shoulder to shoulder
The exhibition included about 150 original objects and more than 100 digitized photo-documentary materials from the collections of the Victory Museum, as well as from eight museums and archives in Russia. Among the exhibits are awards and documents, diplomatic gifts and souvenirs, Soviet and Korean military uniforms and weapons, paintings and graphics, photographs and newsreels. Sections of the exhibition clearly demonstrate historical events, from the liberation of Korea by Soviet troops from the Japanese occupiers and the creation of the DPRK to the signing by the heads of Russia and the DPRK of an agreement on a comprehensive strategic partnership and military support during the Northern Military District.
