Savrasov and silence
The exhibition is dedicated to the 195th anniversary of the birth of Alexei Kondratievich Savrasov (1830–1897), one of the main painters of the Russian school and the founder of lyrical landscape. The exhibition brought together 66 works, including 35 paintings by Savrasov himself, reflecting all stages of his creative path. The exhibition also includes works by landscape painters of the 19th–21st centuries (Arkhip Kuindzhi, Isaac Levitan, Nikolai Dubovsky, Apollinary Vasnetsov, Georgy Nyssky and others) and objects of contemporary art
