Imperial rooms
Museum exhibition in the building of the Tver railway station, recreated during the reconstruction of 2012–2015. This is the only surviving station on the way from St. Petersburg to Moscow, where there were imperial rooms. The imperial rooms were intended for the rest of members of the imperial family during trips by rail. Official meetings of delegations and ceremonies on the occasion of the arrival of royalty were also held here. Over the years, Alexander III, Nicholas II, the Prince and Princess of Oldenburg stayed in these rooms.
